And now Jack brings his expertise in styling to Simon Webster Hair, where he joins the salon full-time as a senior stylist and educator, with a focus on creativity and technical precision. He says, “I’ve always been drawn to the sculptural nature of cutting hair and translating a client’s wants and needs into a suitable style executed with precision. I like to work within a relaxed, nurturing environment to allow for real focus on the individual. My work takes me around the world, demonstrating and educating to other stylists at a creative level but I love being based in Brighton for quality of life and being able to offer a similarly down-to-earth client experience.”

Meanwhile, the salon is gearing-up for the national finals of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy competition, with two of their stylists short-listed for two of the four national awards: Young Colourist of the Year Award (Max Backshell) and Men’s Image Award (Phil Gilbert). It’s an immense achievement for this small, independent salon and we wish them luck at the national awards ceremony at Grosvenor House in June.
