Brighton’s Best Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurants
Vegetarian and vegan restaurants, cafes and delis you must try in Brighton
Brighton’s known for being a Mecca for vegetarians – so much so, our seaside city has in fact been named the country’s vegetarian capital. And with a plethora of vegetarian – and vegan – restaurants, cafes and delis, across the city; we can certainly see why.
As it’s National Vegetarian Week, we thought we’d round up a few of our favourite Brighton vegetarian eateries – great for veggies, vegans and those who fancy trying something new!
Opening as a vegan sandwich shop and deli in the beating heart of Brighton, in January 2017, by vegan owner, Liv; Larder has quickly become one of the local destinations for vegans, veggies and residents alike.
Serving homemade food, great coffee and delicious cakes (including donuts from cult Brighton vegan destination Glazed), Liv is keen to show that you can have great simple food which doesn’t involve lots of fake meat and fake dairy products. Don’t forget to try Larder’s raved about Buddha bowls – such as Butternut squash jambalaya with cajun kidney beans or their platters. Lentil dal, onion bhaji, sourdough toast and mango chutney, anyone?
