Beauty Pop-Up in aid of Brighton Women’s Centre

Some of Brighton’s best independents are collaborating to celebrate International Women’s Day & BWC

Some of Brighton’s best independents are collaborating to host a charity event in aid of Brighton Women’s Centre and to celebrate International Women’s Day. The UK Good Salon Guide, in conjunction with Simon Webster Hair, Zola Amour, WiDEYE and more, are bringing a very special fashion and beauty pop-up event to the Hotel du Vin, Brighton.

Taking place on Sunday 10th March, 3-5pm, the intimate event will include talks and demos with a focus on ethical fashion and beauty choices. Tickets are limited to 30 guests and priced at £15 with profits going to Brighton Women’s Centre who will also be on-hand at the event to talk about the work they do to support women around our city.

What’s going on?

Simon Webster Hair will be presenting their take on the latest hair trends and home styling. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have on managing your style and colour.

Emily Evans, founder and designer of Zola Amour, will be talking about what ethical fashion means in terms of sourcing materials, creating designs and buying clothes.

Fashion blogger and personal stylist, Carla Webster, will be presenting a talk on wardrobe staples and how we can move away from throw-away fashion, looking at detoxing your wardrobe and the key items you should own.

The WiDEYE team will be providing complimentary hand massages, nail filing and painting with their new ‘Five Free’ polishes, which are made locally and are free of chemicals often used in varnish.

Pop-up extras…

Bite-sized cakes, tea and prosecco will be available for all guests to enjoy, plus a fashion stand from Zola Amour, should you want to treat yourself. There’ll be an exclusive raffle with a chance to win some top haircare gifts from some of the industry’s biggest brands, bespoke jewellery by Lou Taylor, yoga courtesy of Bend Fit Mend and many more fabulous prizes. All proceeds from the raffle will be going to the Brighton Women’s Centre. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’ll be a goody bag for all guests to take away.

It’s an event not to be missed, but with limited tickets, book yours now.
