Iydea
Iydea is a Brighton institution – and for good reason, not only are their meals 100% vegetarian (with most being vegan and gluten free too), but they’re delicious and nutritious too. Their familiar lunch time queue, which often snakes into Kensington Gardens, just shows how popular their foodie offerings are. Meals range from £4.70 – £7.70 and include a main (such as mushroom stroganoff, lasagne and curries), two sides and two toppings.

itsu
Known for it’s affordable, low fat seasonal menu and it’s ethos to serve up mouth-wateringly nutritious food created by talented chefs, itsu is the perfect place to head for a healthy meal. From protein packed salads, hearty noodle soups, freshly prepared sushi to ‘potsu’ (rice pots), energising snacks and luscious low-fat desserts, itsu’s food is lovingly made on-site every day and tastes as delicious as it looks. Leon’s founders created the restaurant chain because they wanted to prove that it was possible to serve food that both tastes good and does you good, and be easily accessible on the high street.
