Take on the Brilliant Brighton Bricks Trail this Christmas!

Big and little LEGO fans alike are invited to take part in the city’s festive Brilliant Brighton Bricks Trail, organised by Brilliant Brighton and Brighton Bricks – with one aim: to tick off all 42 hidden Minifigures and bag themselves one of three amazing prizes!

Individual LEGO characters will be hidden in the windows of shops, cafés and restaurants across the city, as part of the Brilliant Brighton Bricks Trail, taking place between Saturday 23rd November – Sunday 22nd December 2019.

“We’re really excited to be hosting our second trail, in partnership with local LEGO community group Brighton Bricks, and hope that this, along with our Christmas lights, will get people feeling festive and exploring Brilliant Brighton!” Gavin Stewart CEO of Brilliant Brighton, also known as Brighton’s Business Improvement District, says.

“Last year over 100 families and individuals took part, and we’re hoping that this year, with a record number of businesses involved, even more people will enjoy taking on the trail!”

“The reason I love putting on this trail is seeing how the shops hide the Minifigures in their windows, as well as seeing the joy on people’s faces when they find them. I want people to explore the high street and see the amazing range of shops we have in Brighton, especially some of the unique independent shops Brighton has,” adds Nick Bright, of Brighton Bricks.

The three fantastic prizes worth a total of almost £1,000 (which combines LEGO sets worth up to £89.99, as well as cash amounts of up to £400), have been donated by Brilliant Brighton’s Ambassadors, who patrol city centre streets each day, assisting with everything from security to signposting visitors and offering first aid.

“We love donating prizes for the Brilliant Brighton Bricks Trail,” Lead Brilliant Brighton Ambassador (and LEGO fan), Kat Bradshaw-Denton explains. “We really enjoy seeing families and friends of all ages spotting the hidden figures in businesses’ windows, as we are on duty throughout the city centre. We hope that everyone enjoys spending a few hours exploring the city to take on the trail. Don’t forget to say hello to us too, if you see us while you’re finding the figures!”

The prizes are:

First prize: LEGO City Deep Space Rocket & Launch Control set worth £89.99 PLUS £400 cash prize!

Second prize: LEGO Creator 3 in 1 Townhouse Pet Shop & Cafe set worth £74.99 PLUS £200 cash prize!

Third prize: LEGO Friends Dolphins Rescue Mission set worth £34.99 PLUS £200 cash prize!
